Had anyone who had been staying in Portmeirion at the time of filming the Village scenes for 'Many Happy Returns,' been seen out the Village, or seen in a doorway or at a window of their cottage, the illusion would have been broken. Perhaps anyone staying in the Village was treated like the citizens in the Village, forced to remain indoors until the filming/No.6 had escaped!
