Be Seeing You
During the dream of ‘A’ of ‘A B and C’ as Number
6 straightens his bow tie, having dealt with ‘A’ and his henchmen, he says “Be
seeing you.” This could show a memory of The Village even in his dream, and why not? After all, any unpleasant memories of
The Village had not been wiped from his mind, because he wakes up in his
cottage in the Village after each of the first two experiments, and secondly “Be
seeing you” was a very fashionable phrase used in both the 1950’s and 60’s.
