It's day 8 of the Prisoner's voyage of discovery. That's eight days and seven nights so far, making it about a third of his way through the voyage. It is said that with 'the Prisoner' Patrick McGoohan wanted to show a man in isolation, and the effects upon him because of that isolation. Well you can't get much more isolated than this. One man all alone on an open raft in the vast Atlantic Ocean!
How he is surviving I do not know. More than a week at sea, never mind the isolation, what about his physical well being? He'll be wet, cold, and possibly suffering from even mild effects of hyperthermia. I know he took with him what he could, but that did not include any warm and waterproof clothing!
