Thought For The Day

It's Your Funeral, well it would have been had it not been for No.6. But then if “they” had not involved No.6 is the first place, Plan Division Q may very well have succeed and the purge of malcontents in The Village could have been carried out with impunity. But then why go to all that trouble of making the execution of a retiring No.2 look like an assassination, in order that they could then carry out their mass reprisals as suggested by No.6? Why not just get on with it in the first place?
So returning to No.6’s involvement with Plan Division Q, is there a sub-plot to this episode? It could be quite on the cards that No.1 is using this situation to put No.6 to the test again. To see if he can counter the plot to assassinate/execute the retiring No.2, and thereby saving the good citizens of the community from those suggested mass reprisals. The test to see whether or not No.6’s cares enough to do something, or to simply stand by and do nothing. Which provokes the question why does he care?

Be seeing you
