This image is from routine surveillance. You can observe Number 6 standing in the pagoda, looking out to see what's going on. Everyone is standing stock still, because any moment The Village Guardian is about to come bounding passed. But then the very next thing comes this frame of film.
Here again you can see the citizens of The Village also standing stock still in the central Piazza, and that includes the Prisoner on the day of his arrival. Which is strange seeing as both images come from 'Checkmate.' But at least they both have the same thing in common, and I mean "thing," The Village Guardian is about to put in an appearance.
